For locations transitioning to the enhanced patient portal, bills for all care received after October 31, 2026, will appear in the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App.
A $0 balance in the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal or Mobile App does not mean an older balance from before October 31, 2026 (May 2, 2026 for the Washington locations) has been cleared. Outstanding bills for care received before these dates will continue to be paid through previous patient portals or other established payment methods.
For any care received after October 31, 2026 (May 2, 2026 for the Washington locations) , you’ll have the option to easily pay bills through the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal or Mobile App. Find your care location below and click the link or call us at (888) 717-0197 to learn more.
Some of your information will need to be verified in the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID, as we may need to verify your information in our new system. Keep in mind that there may be extended wait times during this transition period.
The enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App helps you contact your care team, starting day one. When you access the new portal or app, you can safely and securely message your doctors and care teams. If the doctor you've seen in the past year isn't listed in your enhanced portal or app, please call your doctor's office.
As we transition to the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal, you may temporarily have limited functionality in the enhanced and original versions of the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App.
During the first few weeks of the transition, your health information and functionality may be limited in the new, enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal. Following your next appointment, most of your health information will appear in your enhanced portal.
For the most seamless experience, be sure to link your original CommonSpirit Patient Portal with the new, enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App. By linking accounts, you’ll be able to use both portals during this transition, schedule new appointments in the enhanced version and have access to your prescriptions and medical health history in the original portal.
When you use a CommonSpirit lab, your results connect directly to the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App. You and your care team will be able to view them in the portal or app as soon as the results are available.
Results from a different laboratory will be added to your patient portal, but it may take a little longer for them to appear.
When you use a CommonSpirit pharmacy, your pharmacy and care team share the same system, making it easier and faster to coordinate your medications. If you would like to use another pharmacy, let your care team know where you would like to have your prescription filled.
It’s a good idea to check your health plan coverage and possible out-of-pocket costs.
MyChart Bedside keeps you informedduring your hospital stay. With MyChart Bedside you can use the enhanced CommonSpirit Mobile App to stay connected with your care every step of the way through the enhanced CommonSpirit Mobile App.
During your hospital stay, you can use MyChart Bedside to:
View your daily schedule
Track medications, test results and more
Message your care team
Access educational materials
After your hospital stay, your information from MyChart Bedside will be available in your enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App.
We are making updates to how parents and guardians access their teens’ (ages 13-17) health records online with proxy access. This update ensures we comply with state and federal laws.
This is a change to online access, not to the care an adolescent receives or their relationship with their care team. Teens can continue to access and manage their own health information online through the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal.
Proxy access will vary by state. Please visit your care location site for more information.
As we transition to the enhanced version of the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App, we will update required consent forms at your next visit.
You may be asked to sign certain forms again even if you have completed them previously. This may include consent to treat, HIPAA and other required registration or clinical consents. We appreciate your cooperation during this transition.
With the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App, you can let us know when you are on your way for urgent care or emergency department visits through “Find Urgent Care.” While this isn't an appointment, it helps our front desk and care teams better understand your needs before you arrive.
