What is chemoperfusion?

Chemoperfusion is a way to put chemotherapy medicine into the belly. During surgery, all cancer that can be seen in the belly is removed. Then the doctor puts warm liquid chemo medicine into the belly for a short time. This is done to kill as many cancer cells as possible.
