Rhinophyma

Rhinophyma is a condition in which the nose appears enlarged, swollen and bumpy, and red. Most common in men, rhinophyma is a symptom of severe rosacea, a blood vessel disorder and skin condition that causes chronic redness and inflammation in the face.

Surgery is sometimes used for rhinophyma to help improve a person's appearance.

Rhinophyma is an uncommon form of rosacea that results in knobby bumps on the nose and cheeks. This can make the nose and face look swollen. The changes in the face caused by rhinophyma may become permanent.

Rhinophyma can be treated with cosmetic surgery.
