Haley Wilson, NP-BC

Haley Wilson is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in cardiothoracic surgical care with The Chattanooga Heart Institute. Haley received a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is a dual-certified nurse practitioner. Haley received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She has more than 15 years of health care experience having served as a registered nurse in an intensive care unit for almost 10 years and a nurse practitioner for more than five years. Providing patient-centered care and empowering patients in decision making about their care is a key priority for Haley. Patients deserve current, evidence-based information. She strives to be both empathetic and compassionate.Cardiology has always been interesting to Haley. The heart is the central organ of the body and its function affects every other organ. While working as a nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit, she discovered her love for cardiac surgery. Away from work, Haley, her husband, and son enjoy the great outdoors - hiking, fishing, and camping. An avid Alabama fan, her fall Saturdays are focused on football.
