Joseph K. Powers, MD, FACC

A native of Belle Harbor, New York, Dr. Joseph K. Powers received his medical degree from New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. He served his residency and internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Powers is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. He serves as a member of the Tennessee Medical Society and belongs to the Bradley County Medical Society. Dr. Powers has jointly published numerous abstracts and papers related to cardiac imaging and remains interested in this field.
