Dr. Meadows and Harper Sutton are accepting new patients aged 18 and older. To schedule an appointment, call (423) 495-3940.

We do not prescribe narcotics for ongoing use. Patients requiring these medications must see a pain management specialist. Please bring all medications with you to your visit. To avoid delays, make sure to request refills for maintenance medications during your physical. If you need a non-narcotic refill in an urgent situation, you may contact the nurse. Please note that narcotic prescriptions will not be filled after hours. Calls made after 3 p.m. may be addressed the following business day. We are committed to meeting your needs and will address all requests promptly.

If you have pending lab or test results, there's no need to call our office unless specifically instructed by your provider. Once reviewed, results will be available on your patient portal. If your physician deems it necessary to discuss the results, they or a certified medical assistant will contact you with recommendations. Please ensure we have your up-to-date phone number on file to reach you.

Our CHI Memorial Answering Service handles calls from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend. For urgent matters that cannot wait until office hours, the service can connect you with the on-call provider. Please use this service for after-hours care.

We accept most major insurance plans. All insurance copays, coinsurance and deductibles are due at the time of service. Please be prepared to settle these before you leave the office. We are committed to keeping costs low while providing high-quality care. To ensure accurate billing and timely communication, please inform our receptionist of any changes to your address, phone number or insurance information. This helps us file claims correctly and avoid unnecessary billing issues.

If your insurance requires a referral before seeing a specialist, please request it in advance. Obtaining authorization from your insurance company can take up to three business days. Our referral department is dedicated to scheduling specialist appointments and tests as quickly as possible. If you have specific preferences for location, times, dates or providers, please let your physician know, and we will ensure your referral is tailored to meet your needs. We are here to assist you every step of the way.

We value your time and do everything possible to minimize your wait. If you're unable to keep an appointment, we kindly ask for a cancellation call at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer your time slot to another patient in need. Appointments not canceled within 24 hours may incur a fee. Our goal is to make the best use of our providers' time to help as many patients as possible. Repeated missed appointments could lead to dismissal from our practice.
