CHI Memorial Interventional Pulmonology provides care for patients with lung cancer and other complex medical needs requiring advanced interventional pulmonology procedures, such as:

• Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS),  a minimally invasive procedure that integrates ultrasound with bronchoscopy to provide highly precise diagnostic capabilities for lung diseases and lung cancer. This approach ensures accurate diagnoses while minimizing patient discomfort.

• Airway stent placement to manage a range of respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, airway obstructions and chronic lung diseases.

Cone Beam CT Bronchoscopy (CBCT), an innovative imaging technique that combines cone beam CT technology with bronchoscopy. This advanced modality provides exceptionally detailed views of the airways and surrounding structures, significantly enhancing the accuracy of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. We perform hundreds of CBCT bronchoscopies each year.
