Insurance acceptedSaint Joseph Hospital primarily serves central and eastern Kentucky with a full range of services, including cardiology, orthopedics and stroke care.

The following units do not allow visitation from 6 to 8 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.:
Intensive care unit (ICU) South
Cardio-thoracic vascular unit (CTVU)
Critical care unit (CCU)
Special circumstances may be considered in critical care areas for child visitation.
Located on the ground floor, our cafeteria is open daily except weekends:
Breakfast: 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We also have Starbucks located in the front lobby, open 7 days a week:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The gift shop is located on the first floor. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We provide free interpreter services for our limited English-speaking patients and related communication equipment and services for our hearing-impaired patients.
We offer a variety of resources to meet language needs, including:
Face-to-face interpreters for many languages, including Spanish and American Sign Language
Over-the-phone interpreters for most spoken languages
Video-remote interpreting for American Sign Language
