Our neurology team provides care for a wide range of conditions, including stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, chronic headaches, traumatic brain injuries and other acute neurological disorders.

If your condition requires neurological evaluation or treatment, a hospital-based neurologist or neurology specialist will be consulted as part of your care team.

 

A neurologist will assess your medical history, perform a neurological exam and may order tests such as brain imaging (MRI, CT scan), EEG or blood work to diagnose and manage your condition.

Stroke treatment depends on the type and severity. Ischemic strokes may be treated with clot-busting medications or procedures like thrombectomy, while hemorrhagic strokes require careful monitoring and possible surgical intervention.
