Insurance acceptedPrimary care is the first point of contact for patients in the health care system. It focuses on preventing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of health issues. A primary care provider helps maintain your overall health, coordinates specialist care when needed and ensures continuity of care.
We provide a comprehensive evaluation of your overall health and a review of any concerns you may have.
We measure your vital signs (including blood pressure, heart rate and temperature). Then, your primary care provider reviews your medical history, including any medications you're taking and past illnesses or surgeries. Your provider listens to your current health concerns and conducts a physical examination. The exam may include checking your heart and lungs, examining your abdomen and assessing any areas of concern.
Depending on your age, gender and medical history, your provider may recommend certain screenings or tests, such as blood work or vaccinations. You'll have the opportunity to discuss any health goals or lifestyle changes you'd like to make, and your provider can offer guidance and support.
