Virtual patient care
Virtual care is an important way to meet the needs of our communities within appropriate settings across the care continuum. Our video visits platform offers a convenient way to see a physician without leaving your home.
While virtual care will not replace appropriate in-person visits, it will open up more access points and connectivity in the future as we look at developing additional solutions that are clinically driven and meet consumers where and how they want to be seen.
Telehealth network
As the nation's largest and most diverse telemedicine network, we're adept in designing customized virtual care solutions across our organization and beyond. Integrated telehealth services with in person services add value and enhance quality of clinical service lines across the care continuum.
We empower providers with the technology, software and training to virtually connect with patients from anywhere. Our telehealth services are essential to ensure patients have timely access to primary and specialty providers throughout the care continuum.
Home health
For many patients, the most convenient and comfortable setting to receive care is in their own home. One of CommonSpirit’s strategic imperatives is to successfully transition hospice, medication therapies, and other appropriate care and services into the home environment.
This includes a large range of clinical services, such as nursing and therapy, designed to help our patients recover and rehabilitate where they want to be most: at home.
Clinical research
We believe research is the cornerstone of every cure, and supporting our clinical research enterprise is a key component of CommonSpirit’s commitment to excellence in patient care.
Building on a tradition of excellence that dates back more than one hundred years, the CommonSpirit Research Institute is focused on connecting hospitals, patients and physicians with the very latest in medical advances, technology, treatment and procedures.
Precision medicine
In 2016, CommonSpirit launched the Precision Medicine Alliance, the largest community-based precision medicine program in the nation, offering patients faster and more accurate genomic diagnostic and treatment protocols.
The Precision Medicine Alliance platform will ultimately be available at more than 150 hospitals and care centers across the U.S., serving a potential patient population of approximately 12 million patients annually.
Intellectual property and partnerships
The creativity and ingenuity of our employees has led to many groundbreaking discoveries and new products, from simple solutions to complex inventions.
We have an established track record of successful partnerships and affiliations on initiatives spanning telehealth, micro-hospitals, and precision medicine.
