With over 25 years of experience in health care, consulting and international business development, Daniel brings broad financial expertise to his role as Chief Financial Officer. He has remained steeped in health care strategy, operations and finance throughout his career. With a proven track record of implementing strategic financial initiatives, managing complex transactions, and leading successful partnerships, bond offerings and acquisitions, Daniel has consistently driven economic growth for health care organizations. Before CommonSpirit Health, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Dignity Health and the Chief Financial Officer of Stanford Health Care. As Chief Financial Officer at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, Daniel was responsible for leading growth initiatives and developing care management ventures and partnerships, while guiding Stanford Health Care's operations. Additionally, he established an international presence for Stanford Health Care with business activity and sites in China, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates. Daniel also held executive finance positions with the University of Toledo, the Medical University of Ohio, the Chicago Medical School and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Daniel has served on various technology and health care boards and has a faculty appointment at the Stanford School of Medicine. A certified public accountant, he received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and policy studies from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
