Terika Richardson, CommonSpirit Health’s SEVP, Chief Operating Officer, was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the Leading Women for 2025.
This prestigious recognition program acknowledges and honors women executives from all sectors of the health care industry for their contributions to care delivery improvement, health equity, policy and gender equity in health care leadership.
“The roles held by the honorees on our 2025 list of Leading Women and Rising Stars vary greatly but they all have one thing in common — a commitment to helping their organizations reach the clinical, operational and financial goals,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare. “Their leadership and achievements are propelling the industry forward, both in terms of improving the patient experience and serving as mentors for other women in health care.”
Modern Healthcare's article highlighted Richardson's significant contributions to CommonSpirit since she joined in 2023. It emphasized her leadership in promoting growth and operational effectiveness, particularly her role in strategically realigning reporting divisions and the addition of high-acuity hospital beds to meet growing patient needs. Terika's focus on strengthening physician coordination has further enhanced the quality of care across the CommonSpirit network. The article also called out her deep commitment to developing future leaders at CommonSpirit by mentoring emerging women executives and helping them navigate the evolving health care landscape.
