Financial assistance
We know that paying for emergency or necessary medical care can be challenging, especially without insurance. That’s why we’re here to help in a fair and compassionate way. We offer financial assistance programs to make care more affordable. Our goal is to ensure everyone gets the care they need, no matter their financial situation.
The program
The CommonSpirit Health Financial Assistance Policy (available in multiple languages) applies to uninsured and underinsured patients who come to our facilities for treatment. This policy provides financial relief to patients who qualify based on their family size, income and/or financial resources.
The program is designed specifically for patients who receive medically necessary care and whose household income is up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level in most states or 500% in California.
To qualify for any assistance, uninsured or underinsured patients will be asked to complete an application (available in multiple languages) which includes information relating to household size, income and expenses.
We are committed to working with our patients to establish an appropriate payment plan based on the amount due and the patient’s financial status.
