Background

Formed in 2016, the Precision Medicine Alliance [PMA] was initially created as an alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health. As of February 2019, the PMA has evolved into a wholly-owned subsidiary of CommonSpirit Health, serving 21 states across the continental United States and reaching 1 in 4 U.S. residents.

The PMA builds system-wide, collaborative clinical programs, currently with focus areas  including  precision oncology and physician education. . In support of CommonSpirit Health’s mission, PMA works with providers to integrate advanced genomic solutions into clinical practice as well as develop initiatives to build healthier communities.
