New clinical resource flex positions:

  • Up to $65 per hour pay rate
  • Multiple service lines
  • Up to $24,000 student loan payback
  • Requires 1-year of related experience

Full-time department based RN positions:

  • New grad pay rate now starting at $30 per hour at all Saint Joseph Health facilities
  • $25,000 sign-on bonus available at Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph East* in Lexington 
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus available at all other facilities*
  • $24,000 student loan payback

* Full time, 2 year commitment requirement, > 1 year RN experience required

Opportunities for resident candidates

  • Onsite shadowing: Candidates can arrange onsite shadowing before the application deadline by emailing Residency Program Director Kevin Poe.

  • ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting: Our PGY1 and PGY2 Critical Care Residency Programs will participate in the ASHP Midyear Residency Showcase. Check the ASHP website for session details.

  • Interviews (Late January – February):

    • Onsite interviews will be scheduled for qualified applicants after application review.

    • Virtual interviews available upon request.

Residency stipend and benefits

  • Competitive salary ~$48,500 (PGY1); ~$52,500 (PGY2)

  • Vacation leave – 18 days accrued annually 

  • Personal days – 4 days per calendar year (2 days in the first calendar year if start date is after June 30th)

Interested residency candidates can apply for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or the PGY2 Critical Care Residency Programs. 

How to apply

Applications may be submitted through ASHP’s Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).

Note: The Residency Program Application form may be used to apply for either the PGY1 Residency or PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program.

1. Applicants must download the Saint Joseph Hospital Residency Program application.

2. Applicants may then upload their completed Saint Joseph Hospital Residency Program application, personal cover letter and curriculum vitae to the PhORCAS website.

3. Request three professional references of your choice to complete recommendations for you through PhORCAS.

4. Provide your official college transcript materials to the PhORCAS service. PhORCAS will then make your transcripts available to the Residency Program director along with your other application materials.

All application materials must be received by the application deadline: January 2. Resident applicants will be notified of their status for onsite interviews by January 31st.
