At CHI St. Vincent, our mission is to care for everyone in our community. We dedicate significant resources to programs and services that improve access to health care for underserved populations, including those who are uninsured.

Every three years, we conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand and address local health concerns. As a nonprofit health system, we gather community feedback to develop implementation plans, which guide our efforts to improve health and well-being through community-focused programs and investments.

These assessments help us identify and prioritize key health challenges, ensuring we implement evidence-based solutions that make a real difference. By partnering with local organizations and communities, we strengthen our commitment to providing care that truly meets your needs.

At CHI St. Vincent, we have a rich history of learning and educational programs. Our academic team advances medical education, clinical research and professional development, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and innovation.

The CHI St. Vincent Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) is an ongoing partnership between CHI St. Vincent and the Center for Arkansas Legal Services (CALS) to provide free, non-criminal based legal services to patients and families of CHI St. Vincent.

The partnership brings together physicians, nurses, social workers, attorneys and paralegals to address social and environmental determinants of poor health that may have a legal remedy. These conditions include substandard housing conditions, domestic violence, food, income, housing insecurity, and improper denials of Medicaid and disability benefits.

MLP’s mission is to help provide stability to individuals and families through the provision of civil legal services. MLP clients do not pay attorney fees for the services they receive. However, the patient would be responsible for paying court fees or other costs associated with the patient’s legal issue, if the court or a third-party does not waive the fees.

Who may request assistance?

Eligible individuals include patients, immediate family members of patients, responsible parties for patients and CHI St. Vincent coworkers with incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

To submit a request or make a referral for legal assistance, download and complete this form:
