Infant feeding support
One of the most important choices a new parent makes is how to feed their newborn. Our physicians, nurses and breastfeeding support specialists are here to help you make the best choice for you and your family. We help all families create a feeding plan, whether they choose breast milk, formula or a combination of both.
Our approach to infant feeding is guided by compassion, research, real-world experiences and the infant's and family's unique needs. It’s designed to help all families thrive, supporting both breastfeeding families and those who make an informed choice not to breastfeed.
In-hospital support
While in the hospital, take advantage of our experienced lactation consultants and trained nursing staff for breastfeeding support. After discharge, you can schedule an outpatient visit with a physician’s order, which is typically covered by insurance. Ask your provider for more details.
For ongoing support, call our lactation department at (859) 967-5167 and leave a message. We’ll return your call as soon as possible.
